**About the role**

As a Lead on the Hosting Equity Standards Team, you will use your skills to manage, coordinate and align strategic initiatives involving anti-discrimination and commmunity diversity and inclusion for Airbnb.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp mind for working cross-functionally with partners to solve problems in a cutting edge, yet pragmatic way . You have a strong talent for aligning goals across cross-functional teams by bringing structure, teamwork and strategic and critical thinking.

Responsibilities:

* Support the Director of Equity Standards in driving the company-wide Anti-Discrimination, community diversity and inclusion (AD) strategy and priorities, guiding the implementation of those priorities across cross-functional teams

* Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to the Director of Equity Standards on relevant issues. Serve as thought partner to leadership with the ability to translate strategic thinking into program management/execution.

* Give voice to Anti-Discrimination risks and concerns in ongoing company projects and initiatives

* Collaborate with internal policy, product, legal, engagement, marketing, comms, etc, teams on decisions, escalations, initiatives and engagement that involve Anti-Discrimination issues and the civil rights external community

* Stay up to date on relevant and arising Anti-Discrimination issues affecting Airbnb and peer companies and partner with internal stakeholders to build proactive strategies to address these issues

* Manage risks, issues, and working cross-functionally to take corrective measurements on key projects

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree (Advanced degree preferred)

* 10+ years of experience working in complex, cross-functional work environments and managing large initiatives independently

* Strong systems thinker with exceptional organizational / project management skills

* Expertise with managing executives on complex decision-making exercises

* Experience operating independently and executing flawlessly on both the strategic and operational level

* Knowledge of and passion for critical Anti-Discrimination issues that impact tech products, policies, operations and practices

* Exceptional leadership, priority management, facilitation, and organizational skills

* Ability to work positively with cross-functional stakeholders and align them on common goals and approaches

* Demonstrated track record working on ambiguous and unpredictable programs and creating structure and consistency

* Strong situational awareness and critical thinking

* Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems

* Thrives in ambiguity in a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization

* Ability to be both strategic thought partner, and tactical program manager in managing timelines, risks, communications, and prioritization of work.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in Tech sector

* Experience with Anti-Discrimination, Diversity and Inclusion issues within a company/corporate environment
