Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Warbird Consulting Partners is actively in search of experienced Chief Executive Officer candidates for interim opportunities with healthcare clients nationally. The interim Chief Executive Officer reports to the Board and is responsible for the operation and administration of the hospital and all its departments. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads and manages the strategic and daily operations of the hospital according to the policies and practices
• Manages the financial well-being of the hospital operations, including preparing annual budget; Has fiscal accountability for all hospital operations, including purchasing, workforce, insurance, compliance, and legal aspects of operations.
• Reviews and takes appropriate corrective action upon reports and recommendations of regulatory and inspection agencies to assure that the hospital is in conformity with their requirements.
• Maintains the physical properties of the hospital in sound, safe and sanitary condition and in good repair and operating condition, and maintains adequate insurance policies for protecting all assets of the hospital,
• Serves as the liaison and channel of communication between the Board of Directors and any of its committees and the Medical Staff, and assists the Medical Staff with its organization and medico-administrative problems and responsibilities.
• Prepares plans for the achievement of the hospital’s specific objectives and periodically reviews and evaluates that plan.
• Other detail duties to support optimal hospital operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field required, Masters preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in an Acute Care/LTAC/Medical Group setting
• Previous healthcare leadership experience required.
