**Description**

Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Contracts; the Lead Worker will be responsible for supervision of Memphis Goodwill Janitorial personnel assigned to the designated contract facility.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Adhere to contract specifications regarding hiring, training, time management, supervision, and evaluation of Memphis Goodwill Janitors.

Knowledgeable of OSHA Guidelines, Material Safety Data Sheets (MDS)

Knowledgeable of Janitorial/Custodial Care, Carpeted/Hard Floor Surface Cleaning and general cleaning procedures.

Ensures that all floor care is maintained according to contract specifications; including but not limited to routine buffing, annual stripping and waxing.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; candidate must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Effectively manage and relate to individuals with various barriers to employment, cultural backgrounds and disabilities.

Must be able to assume on-call responsibilities.

Must be able to demonstrate exemplary on-site supervisory and leadership capabilities.

Encourage performance, quality; and ensures satisfied customers and visitors.

Other duties will be assigned by the Senior Director of Contracts.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Train Janitorial personnel on the appropriate cleaning methods to meet and exceed contract specifications.

2. Ensures schedules and timesheets are completed and sent to corporate in a timely manner.

3. Conduct daily inspections of facility.

4. Supervise and contract operations to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

5. Provides administrative responsibilities; including time management.

6. With work closely with Director of Contracts and Case Management to conduct evaluation of employees to ensure program effectiveness.

7. Assists with settings up and monitoring all inspections and reporting necessary for contract compliance.

8. Functions as Liaison with contract officers and their designated representatives for contract compliance.

9. Provides a safe working environment for the contract staff and company personnel.

10. Ensures that all floor care is maintained according to contract specifications; including but not limited to routine buffing, annual stripping and waxing.

11. Ensures the plaza and all outside areas are maintained.

12. Must be able to assume on-call responsibilities.

13. Other duties as assigned by Senior Director of Contracts and/or Contract Changes.

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS:

1. Ability to effectively manage and relate to persons with various types of disabilities, personalities, and cultural backgrounds.

2. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Contracts and Job Coaches to ensure program effectiveness.

3. Ability to work with others in a team approach with management services.

4. Ability to effectively communicate with others both verbally and in writing.

5. Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations, clients ability, and decision making.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma/ GED required

2. 1 to 3 years experience in Management and/or related field

3. Minimum of 2 years of Janitorial, Custodial and/or Housekeeping experience.

4. Motivated with the desire to help others--particularly those with disabilities.

5. Must pass Federal Security Requirements.

6. Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
