Full Job Description

The Koch Internship Program (KIP)  is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the country tackling some of our nation’s most pressing challenges . Throughout your internship with a partner organization, Stand Together Fellowships hosts virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, wherein you will be mentored by seasoned professionals as you craft a capstone project on the topic that matters most to you.  Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week).
 

Founded in 2012, the R Street Institute is the leading think tank engaged in policy research in support of free markets and limited, effective government. We work to bolster American innovation, increase consumer choice and protect individual liberty and believe in smaller, smarter government. In this role you will work with the Finance, Insurance & Trade Policy team.


Responsibilities
    • Bring R Street’s 2022 Insurance Regulation Report Card up to date with the latest available data, news and other developments. The 2022 Report Card is found at: 
    • Follow guidance of Finance, Insurance & Trade program director for information on where to find data/information for the update
    •  Report progress weekly to Finance, Insurance & Trade program director
    •  Other research assistance as directed by R Street if above project is completed within expected timeframe
$5,500 - $5,500 a year
