Marketing Director, NAIC & Sales EnablementDuration: 3 Month Contract to Hire based on performance
Location: 100% REMOTE

Overview Of The Role
The Marketing Director will be one of the key marketing contacts at Financial for the NAIC training portfolio. This position will work with product marketing, product management, compliance and other internal business partners to support NAIC Annuity Suitability training for all annuity product launches, rate changes feature enhancements, fund additions, etc.
Additionally, this position will play an important role on the Distribution Marketing & Business Development Initiatives team, supporting sales enablement programs for Strategic Accounts, various distribution channels (primarily IMO) communications and presentations, as well as general sales support including bios. This marketer will need to effectively manage both the content creation and project management process, while also facilitating compliance, product management, actuarial and creative reviews, and approvals.
This position requires a unique blend of creative thinking, tactical execution and strong communication and writing skills. The Marketing Director will play an important role in meeting our compliance and regulatory requirements.
Essential Job Functions
NAIC related responsibilities:
Play important role in updating and maintaining more than 100 Variable, Index and Fixed Annuity NAIC training presentations
Help coordinate Compliance, Legal, Product Management, Investment Management and Principal reviews as needed.
Help coordinate vendor submissions to publishing updates across six vendor sites (including Kaplan, RegEd, Brainshark, and others).
Help manage the Product Matrix spreadsheets for updates for each launch and distribute them to new business and licensing two weeks before a launch.
Help manage seven vendor site grids and updates
Assist with requests from Product Management, Strategic Accounts and Sales and help answer questions about the NAIC Suitability Model training.
Sales Enablement responsibilities:
Help coordinate design and distribution of IMO Monthly Newsletter
Help gather assets and assist with updates to QR code fliers for conferences, up to 15 per quarter
Assist with updates to Wholesaler and Executive Bios
Coordinate Executive Summary updates for Strategic Accounts
Education and Experience
3-5+ years of professional marketing experience; experience marketing annuities preferred
High energy, positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Highly proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Annuity products required.
Highly self-directed and motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to work in collaboration with other business units.
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to cope with change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
