Full Job Description

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a motivated and nurturing individual to join our team as a Part-Time Daycare Teacher.

As a Part-Time Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children. You will create a safe and stimulating environment, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and support the emotional and social development of each child. Your passion for early education and dedication to ensuring the well-being of children will be critical in making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Salary: $16.00- $20.00

Responsibilities

Create a nurturing and engaging environment for children in the daycare center.

Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare center.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement lesson plans.

Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the progress of each child.

Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on the child's development.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience working with young children preferred.

Knowledge of early childhood development and education best practices.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.

Flexibility in adapting to changing schedules and needs.

CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hiring).
