Part-Time Faculty - Computer Information Tech Cloud Computing (South)
Teaching Computer Information Technology Cloud Computing.
Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
- Associate's of Applied Science Degree in Computer Information Technology or a related field.
- Must have at least three (3) years of full-time work experience in the computer field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer field.
- Industry certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Cisco CCNA Cloud, CompTIA Cloud+, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Professional Data Engineer - Google Cloud, Microsoft Certified, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar
- Five (5) years of full-time work experience in the computer field.
Salary Grade: AH
Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
