Position Highlights:
The
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department at Crystal Run
Healthcare is a busy, well-established, state-of-the-art practice
serving patients throughout Rockland County, Hudson Valley, and the
lower Catskills. The physiatry care we provide locally aims to
restore optimal function and quality of life for people with physical
impairments or disabilities that affect the muscles, bones, tissues,
and nervous system . Overall - w e have the team, equipment,
reputation, and support you need to practice at the peak of your
license and thrive as a physiatrist today and tomorrow!
- Residency & Fellowship-trained,
physician-led, patient centered team-based care environment.
- Full spectrum practice, working with at least 1
other physician, with the potential to develop your own special
interest in specific areas of physiatry.
- Stability of an established, reputable practice within a collegial
multispecialty group with an exceptionally large referral base of over
400 local providers spanning over 70 medical and surgical specialties
and sub-specialties.
- Direct support staff and
teams to assist with patient care and workflow.
- Chronic pain management often requires a multidisciplinary
approach—that’s why we coordinate care with a team of providers that
includes physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists,
speech therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

- Flexible, weekday (M-F) schedules
during normal business hours.
- Local travel
between multiple outpatient offices and ambulatory surgical

- Dedicated procedural day(s) built
into your schedule.
- Shared / rotating phone
only on-call support.

- Manageable
and equitably shared rotating office only on-call support (i.e., 1:7
or 1:8-week rotation).

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide complete comprehensive testing and treatment to
restore optimal function and quality of life for people with physical
impairments or disabilities that affect the muscles, bones, tissues,
and nervous system.
- Injuries and degenerative
conditions affecting the neck and back are some of the most common
causes of chronic pain and disability. Our skilled neck and back pain
specialists provide first-class care for patients seeking neck pain
treatment and back pain treatment.
- Our
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists treat a wide
array of conditions, including:
- Neurological
conditions (stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, traumatic
brain injury)
- Cardiac disease
- Spinal cord injuries
- Amputations
- Neurological
conditions (stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, traumatic
brain injury)
- Consult with patients about the
status of their health, while providing them with the latest
advancements in care.
- Multidisciplinary
collaboration.
- Refer patients to advanced
specialists as needed.
- Examine & diagnose
patients to determine need for treatment / procedure / surgery,
oversight of all treatment prior to and post-surgery and identify
associated risks.
- Order tests and interpret
results to determine the best treatment options.
- Maintain appropriate medical records and results.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of (or in process of completing) accredited relevant PM&R
or Pain Management residency and/or fellowship training program.
- BC/BE in PM&R and/or Pain Management.
- Unrestricted New York State Medical License (or ability to
obtain).
- Current New York State DEA
certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification.
New York Residents Only : The salary range
for New York residents is
$262,479 to $377,215 per year. Salary Range is defined as total
cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and
bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is
based on several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,

401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility
