DescriptionWe accept applications on a rolling basis for full-time, year-long, post-graduate fellows to work with our San Francisco-, Washington, D.C.-, and Asia-based teams. When submitting your application, please indicate your proposed timeframe and the outside funding source you hope to obtain for this fellowship. If you are selected for a post-graduate fellowship, you may be asked to produce a fellowship proposal.
Applicants are requested to have relevant work experience and/or academic background in at least some of the areas in which we work: International Law, Development, Economics, Public Policy, Environmental Justice, and Human Rights. Applicants are required to have excellent communication, research, writing, and critical thinking skills.
Applicants who are invited to submit a proposal should outline their proposed areas of work and how that contribution will meet Accountability Counsel’s organizational needs and serve in furthering our mission. Post-Graduate Research Fellows will
report to our Research Director. Fellows are expected to oversee and
manage a discrete research or data project relating the state of
international accountability, working with all parts of our
organization to synthesize data and produce salient conclusions.
Projects can involve a variety of methodologies, and we welcome
applicants from a diverse array of backgrounds including social
sciences, computer science, data analytics, or other related fields.
Familiarity with data modeling and programming languages such as
Python or R are helpful but not required.
