About the Position

A proud holder of the Department of Labor Chief Evaluation Office BPA, Dexis is proactively recruiting experts to join our established database for short- and long-term consultancies. As we expand our network of professionals, we are seeking Subject Matter Experts in various fields, including but not limited to Apprenticeships, Workforce Development, Unemployment Insurance, Behavior Inventions, Community College, Data Methods and Tools, Disability and Employment, Employer Compliance – Earnings and Wages, Employment and Training, International Labor Issues, Substance Use Disorder, Reentry, Research on Performance Management, Unemployment Insurance, Worker Leave, and Worker Protection.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a leadership role in the implementation of evaluations, research projects such as literature reviews, evidence scans, policy analysis, cost-benefit analyses, impact evaluation, meta-analyses, evaluability or feasibility assessments, equity assessments, needs assessments, and/or surveys or other studies.
  • Develop rigorous evaluation and research designs, questions, and hypotheses to study complex, systemic problems in a labor-related context.
Qualifications 
  • A minimum of a master's degree;
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience performing complex social science research or evaluation studies, preferably related to employment programs career pathways;
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience serving as a Principal Investigator or co-Principal Investigator;
  • Experience with quasi-experimental studies and qualitative research designs;
  • Experience with a range of research designs and methods including random assignment and/or quasi-experimental studies and in designing and implementing studies using large existing administrative data sets;
  • Experience with a range of statistical models and analytical methods for coding, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of data;
  • Experience designing and implementing studies.
