Raytheon is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. SkillBridge Summary:

The Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is searching for a qualified Systems Engineers to join the Effectors and Mission Support team to support system level testing and mission system scenarios. Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined SI&T engineers and customer teams executing our test events.

The idea SkillBridge Candidate will possess the following:

• Working hands-on with power generation equipment, for both 60 Hz and 400 Hz equipment. This includes mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and related documentation.
• Working in a fielded or tactical environment.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. State issued Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to perform SkillBridge for a minimum of 90 days.
• An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance.

SkillBridge Eligibility overview:

To be eligible for this SkillBridge Fellowship you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.

• Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.

• Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.

• Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.

• Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
