Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse, Kellogg Cancer Center, Oncology

  Location:    Highland Park Hospital

  Full Time/Part Time:    Full Time, Days

  Hours:    40hrs- Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm or 8am-6pm with 1 day off each week

  Required Travel:    N/A

  What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

• What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: OCN certification preferred; ONS provider card preferred
• Experience: Oncology and or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred.
