McWilliams and Son, Inc. is seeking a Mascot Performer to engage with the community during both internal and external events. Mascot Performers must adhere to the character of the mascot. They must perform a scheduled event, press appearances, charity events, and filming if requested. They must work in conjunction with the public relations and community relations departments. The Mascot Performer will report directly to the Community Marketer or General Manager as well as other staff and volunteers as needed.

Please see below the duties and responsibilities:

• To be present at events to meet and greet employees, community members, and clients.

• To be present for photo opportunities in and around the East Texas Region.

• Represent McWilliams and Son, Inc. and fulfill all duties at internal/external events directed by and agreed with the Community Marketer.

• Mascots may be required to maintain the integrity of their costumes, including cleaning and repair.

• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions typical to Texas (ie: heat, rain, and cold).

• Must be able to perform in a costume for 30 min at a time.

• Must be able to carry the weight of a full costume character for up to 1hr at a time.

• Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, bending, standing, walking, dancing, and driving.

• Must be able to work varied shirts including holidays and weekends.
