About The Job
Reporting to Sr.
Director, National Accounts & Drug Channel – the 7E National Account
Director will play a key role within our Convenience team and will be
responsible for leading the account management responsibilities with
two of our channels largest accounts, representing $80 million in
annualized shipments across our industry leading brands and platforms.
This individual will also have a CBM reporting directly to them who is
currently responsible for the day-to-day management of all retail only
Danone items and platforms within 7 Eleven.
Vision
for Role
Effectively manage both the Senior
Executive level and category management relationships with 7 Eleven’s
corporate team in effort to develop strategic and tactical programs
targeting franchisee network platform growth and expansion. Heavy
emphasis placed on maintaining our current $80 million base and
quickly capitalizing on favorable category trends that support
incremental growth opportunities across our key platforms and brand
offerings. Build and execute key strategies that support customer
goals while also achieving internal sales targets. Provide leadership
across business functions to develop our brands and business (e.g.,
marketing, finance, RGM, demand planning, and R&D teams) across
customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sustainable profitable growth with 7 Eleven across key platforms.
- Develop customer plans that align with company goals and objectives, inclusive of customer strategies to deliver budgeted sales and operating profit across both customers.
- Deliver year-in planned volume/revenue targets by selling/executing plans accordingly.
- Action plan to identify and implement opportunities to close gaps to plan in year.
- Show clear understanding of customers organizational decision-making structure to maneuver effectively with their organization.
- Develop deep customer intimacy and T2T relationships, but also demonstrate the ability to lean into tough negotiations.
- Lead joint business planning meetings with customers, locking down joint growth goals and pillars to support that growth, including innovation and new platform expansion.
- Work closely with cross functional team to achieve desired results for both customer and organization.
- Harnessing Danone capabilities,
tools, and resources with customers to drive Danone category
leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA a plus
- Minimum of 5 years CPG sales experience calling on Tier one customers or operators.
- Pervious AFH sales experience would be a bonus.
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively and in a team environment.
- Highly motivated individual with Entrepreneurial/ business development spirit
- Functional competency in customer business development, trade and sales planning and fact-based selling through category insights and customer marketing competencies
- Demonstrated ability to drive sustainable customer sales growth across multiple categories through course of work.
- A team player with excellent
communication and interpersonal skills; inspires and influences
collaboration across all cross-functional disciplines toward
continuous improvement of efficiency and operational
effectiveness.

base compensation range for this position is $150,000-190,000. Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options.
