Our direct client is seeking a Sales Specialist (System Integration - Data Center/Hybrid Cloud Solutions) for a direct-hire opportunity with their New York, NY location.

Job Description:

The Sales Specialist (Data Center and Hybrid Cloud Solutions) will engage in pre-sales and sales support tasks in order to support the company and its Account Managers (AM) to effectively sell Data Center and Hybrid Cloud solutions from the vendors the company has chosen to partner with; namely, HPE, Dell, Nutanix, Cisco, VMWare, Veeam and Microsoft.

The mission of this individual is to contribute to enabling these sales by being the internal sales oriented subject matter expert in the appropriate technologies and manufacturer programs that support these sales motions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Work closely with sales management and technical engineering specialists to present the company's offerings to prospects and clients. In this role you will be charged with generating revenue through:

Prospecting in conjunction with our sales staff, our marketing group and our technology partners

Work with the company management to document procedures for qualifying opportunities.

Interpret customer requirements and determine how best to meet them with the company's existing offerings and partnerships.

Supporting corporate marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.

Obtain and Maintain knowledge and certifications to design and build Data Center and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure solutions utilizing software and hardware provided by our Vendor Partners.

Actively work with the company's partner sales organizations to develop new business opportunities. Earn the respect of our partners' sales and sales support staff by demonstrating technical selling skills around their product(s) or solution.

Pitch solutions around these core technologies within accounts at a strategic and technical level.

Demonstrate the solutions live for the end user team.

Identify the appropriate solutions for the customer.

Create certified builds and migration cost structures, for infrastructure components that meet client requirements.

As appropriate, conduct financial analysis of the appropriate solutions for customers.

Create effective, in-depth proposals for the appropriate solutions with support from the appropriate technical leads or technical resources as assigned by our CTO or his designers.

With assistance of the direct Selling teams at the company, present solutions to end user prospects and client's team.

From time-to-time work with management and other units of the company to undertake projects that will further strengthen the company's market position in the data center and hybrid cloud specialization.

Finally, work closely with the company sales and technical management to drive increased revenue and market share in data center and Hybrid Cloud solutions for the company Technologies.
