Title: Senior Contract Administrator TC - Legal/Risk Management

Location: Maury Regional Medical Center

Position Shift: Full Time Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p

Position Summary:

The Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for organizing and managing the contract management process for MRH & Affiliates. The position reviews, prepares, and negotiates documents necessary to protect the hospital with adherence to hospital polices, applicable laws, regulations, and Joint Commission requirements; provides interpretation of terms and conditions and advises management of contractual rights and obligations; and consults with other departments and General Counsel as needed to ensure the hospital has preserved its rights, while limited its liabilities. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Senior Contract Administrator must utilize excellent analytical, organizational, follow-up and time management skills. Must possess the ability to work effectively as a team member, with Senior Leadership, management and all hospital staff. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to exercise good judgement and handle confidential and sensitive issues. Participates in special assignments as required. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts of healthcare contracting concepts, practice and procedures. This position serves as the Property Manager and corporate point of contact responsible for assessing the business risks and costs associated with resolving day to day lease management issues and other contracting operational issues, including problem solving and dispute resolution.

Credentials / Education:

* Bachelors in related field Preferred .

* 5 Contracts Administrative or Related Experience Required .
