**Senior International Flight Attendant**

Other preferred. college degree. 5 years customer service experience including 2 years of flight attendant experience. preferred. Gulfstream flight attendant experience. Position Purpose:The International Flight Attendant Senior (IFAS) ensures each passenger is provided a safe flight environment and an exceptional flight experience. While the primary purpose of this position is to ensure the safety of the passengers, the position is also responsible for delivering exceptional global customer service as well as providing cabin equipment operation demonstration and knowledge during flights. The IFAS will be responsible for communication with the sales team to ensure coordination and delivery of global catering and service details. This position will participate in Flight Ops Committees.Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

- Responsible for the comfort of Gulfstream passengers and ensures their safety through situational awareness, cabin safety briefings, crew communication and assistance in emergency situations.

- Demonstrates and is proficient in the operations of all cabin features on each Gulfstream aircraft type.

- Knowledgeable about the Gulfstream product line in order to answer customer questions therefore enhancing sales and marketing programs.

- Responsible for contacting the sales representative for purposes of menu planning for demonstration flights and assigned special events.

- Performs research to be familiar with passenger food preferences, possible allergies, and medical conditions.

- Participates in quarterly safety meetings and provides suggestions, feedback to act as a representative for the Flight Attendant team. .

- Updates Cabin PlaneBooks in an effort to ensure standardization and provide and electronic source of knowledge to Flight Attendant team members. .

- Maintains a Gulfstream vendor approved catering database of all domestic and international caterers. .

- Coordinates with Gulfstream approved vendors to provide the highest standards of quality and excellence in food selection, preparation, presentation, and service on a global basis. .

- Responsible for the inventory and control of all catering, china, crystal, flatware, linens, wines, liquors, and on board supplies as required. for the country and/or culture. .

- Completes the stocking guidelines to ensure adequate stock is on board each aircraft.

- Responsible for cleanliness of cabin for all in-flight service during the duration of a trip.

- Adheres to company purchasing policies and procedures in the acquisition of aircraft supplies.

Additional Functions:

- Stays current in emergency and first aid procedures. .

- May develop and update procedures manuals and guides as needed or required. .

- Performs berthing procedures as required. .

Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:

- Completion of formal flight attendant training course required. within 90 days of hire.

- Completion of MedAire emergency training, first aid, and CPR training required. within 90 days of hire.

- Third Class Medical required. within 90 days of hire.

- Intl experience required. Knowledge of Middle Eastern, European, Asian, Indian, and South American operations, cuisine, customs, and protocol.

- Culinary training, experience in food preparation, and knowledge of wine are a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Foreign language skills highly preferred. especially Arabic, Mandarin, Portuguese, and/or Spanish.

- Proficiency working in a Windows based computer system. Efficient in MS Office preferred.

- Must be personable and approachable.

- Cost-conscience mentality and ability to adhere to budgets.

- Will require good physical condition due to being on feet most of the shift.
