Senior Solution Engineer – Hospitality & Leisure
Location: US/REMOTE
Travel: Up to 40%

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will provide solution engineering technical and functional support to both prospective and current clients in conjunction with Oracle's sales team for our OPERA property management and Simphony point of sale systems.
Not only will you assist in moving the sales cycle along by developing and delivering compelling and engaging presentations and demonstrations that showcase our Hotel story, you will articulate Oracle product’s strengths, benefits, competitive advantages, and overall value to our clients. Through crafting, validating, and showcasing Oracle software solutions (which might include advanced product concepts, strategic direction, and 3rd party interfaced products), you will be a critical piece in the success of growing our business.
Our Senior Solution Engineers provide our clients product direction and specialist knowledge in applying our technology/application to best meet their needs while communicating functional value to client businesses. You will also be involved in educating our internal and external customers on our products and applications through presentations, storytelling and demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
- Deep expertise of OPERA and Simphony
- Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the Oracle Hospitality solution.
- Maintain account and opportunity updates within internal sales force automation system.
- Handle and prioritize sales opportunities.
- Clearly articulate the benefits of Oracle Hospitality’s applications to all levels including line of business end users, managers, and "C" level executives.
- You have exceptional interpersonal skills: storytelling, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, and presentation skills.
- Provide recommendations to, and gather insight from other multi-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and enhancements as needed.
Skills:
- 5+ years hospitality experience required
- Casino, cruise, hotel, and/or food and beverage industry experience would be phenomenal!
- 5+ years sales experience preferred; vendor or existing customer experience also preferred.
- 3+ years of OPERA and/or Simphony applications preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of system and application design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
- Ability to solve sophisticated technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments.
- Able to travel.
- BS degree or equivalent experience
