CharIN is looking for a global Technical Project Manager

As a member of the CharIN e.V. global network, CharIN Academy follows the vision of being the global one-stop shop for everything there is to know on charging of electric vehicles. Among others, we manage and moderate the numerous technical Focus Groups, Task Forces and Projects of CharIN e.V., host conferences and the renown Testivals for cross-testing of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, organize online expert trainings and provide consulting services to companies and stakeholders – around the globe.

As part of our global expansion strategy, we are looking for a global Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) with a passion for electromobility, adhering to one of the global CharIN network locations in Berlin, Brussels, Washington, DC, Singapore, Beijing, Chennai, Tokyo, or Dubai. In this position, you leverage your expertise and creativity to develop and implement new ideas and thus make a significant contribution to the success of global electromobility.

As part of this network, we are offering you a highly responsible position. In close cooperation with global industry representatives along the charging/electromobility value chain and other political and international associations, you will promote this technology and play a key role in driving forward the development of new mobility. With your technical education and experience from the automotive or energy industry as well as a high degree of intercultural competence and excellent communication skills in German and English, you will become an important part of this successful network.

This position is located in Berlin, Schöneberg and offering an hybrid working mode.

In your role as global Technical Project Manager:

  • you will be primarily responsible for the structured Focus Group process
  • You will be responsible for the Focus Group outcome and moderation
  • You organize and coordinate appointments between the Focus Group members and are the
    main contact person for individual Subgroups and Task Forces, for example on the subject of
    cybersecurity, grind integration or Megawatt charging
  • In addition, you are also the communicative interface for selected Task Forces and Projects.
  • You are responsible for the moderation, preparation and follow-up of meetings (agenda,
    moderation, meeting minutes)
  • You will also be involved in creating storylines and providing input for technical topics
  • You will prepare questions, information and presentations for the CharIN committees
Your profile
  • The automotive environment, innovative technologies, electromobility and IT make your heart beat faster
  • You have successfully completed training or a degree in engineering/ transportation/ energy and ideally have knowledge of business administration
  • You already have experience in monitoring and reporting on extensive projects and are confident in using project management methods
  • An affinity for technology and business fluent or native English and German skills round off your profile.
