We achieve this by cultivating a culture to hire, reward, mentor and grow ‘Exceptional People.’2nd Shift Hours: 3pm-11pm Monday - FridayAs a Tool & Die Maker, you would work on both stamping dies and plastic molds. The primary duty is to utilize tool and die making skills to contribute to manufacturing improvements in both existing manufacturing processes and new products. This position will interact with operations, engineering and process technicians to construct, alter, fit and repair tooling from both the stamping and plastic molding processes.You’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicatorsStudy blueprints, sketches, and models to repair or fabricate tools and diesAbility to troubleshoot production and prototype toolingHave journeymen experience in stamping and forming toolingSet up and operate conventional or CNC machine shop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, and wire EDMInspect tooling for production readinessFit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand toolsConduct tryouts with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessaryRecord work and repair history of tooling in electronic maintenance systemPerform and develop effective preventive maintenance systems of plastic molds and stamping diesBuild and modify spare parts as needed and give accurate time estimates of repairsIdentify continuous improvement opportunities and work in a self-directed manner to implement projects and optimize production processesWhat TOOLS you’ll bring with you:Possess expert level experience in troubleshooting tooling5 years’ experience with stamping die repair, engineering changes and new buildsExperience with aluminum stamping and machining a plusMust be able to communicate technical status to engineering or operations teamExperience with Solidworks or NX a plusExperience with Gibbscam CAM or NX CAM a plusWe provide these great perks and benefits:Robust health, dental and vision insurance plans.Generous 401 (K) savings plan.Education assistance.On-site wellness, fitness center, food, and coffee service. · And many more, check out our benefits site HERE .Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/DisabledWe endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
