The reference to the work of the Good Samaritan in our name is especially fitting as it is consistent with our mission, values and the services our faith-based company provides.APPLY TODAY! #BeTheRock, creating ripples of positive transformation in the lives of those we are entrusted to serve!This position has a pay rate of $56,160.00 annual wageWhat's In It For YouSome of the benefits you may receive are:Competitive Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employmentCompany paid Basic Life Insurance ($10,000 minimum for each full time and part time employee)Company paid Short Term Disability accrual (Full time employees)Retirement Plan (403b) - Company matches on first 1.5% of gross income at 133%Great Personal Time Off (PTO) accrualsAwesome Employee DiscountsUKG Wallet - Pre-Pay OptionsPlus, many more benefitsProvides training, support and leadership for case managers/case assistant teams that provide services for Refugee clients on an assigned caseload in accordance with all applicable contractual and regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee orientation and training of all new case managers, and other positions as needed through the first six to nine months of hireWork with all programs to ensure new staff are trained, understand contractual responsibilities, client expectations, PRM, ORR and OGM policy and protocol, as well as, other community systemsMentor new staff through the first six months of hireProvide/coordinate job shadowing opportunities for new staff through the first six months of hireProvide training for a range of case management services, including all databases, social casework, support of clients, and community referral.Design and conduct trainings and orientations that support funders' policies and Samaritas standards of careProvide training for supportive casework services to refugee adults and childrenPrepare new staff for participating in audits/monitoring visits on assigned caseloadPrepare staff to have the skills to ensure accurate, timely completion of all reports and assignmentsServe as DMS liaison for assigned programsServe as LIRS IRIS, Apricot and extended Reach databases specialist for assigned programsJob QualificationsEducation, Training, and Licensure/CertificationBachelor degree in human services field required with two years' experience providing direct services to refugees, preferredExperiencePrior experience with creating and delivering trainings, or adult education, preferredAdditional Work RequirementsRequired to participate in a system of 24 - 48 hour availability to staff, clients, cosponsoring groups, as required for supervisory back-up coverageRequired to maintain a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours as neededUnrestricted, valid driver license with good driving record.
