At AAA, we are looking for a full-time team member to join our team of professional Travel Agents. Experience is preferred, however, if you love to travel, and have personally traveled, we offer extensive training and professional development every step of the way, including paid familiarization (FAM) Study trips.What we can offer you:Convenient Store Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM to 5:30PM, and Saturday, 9AM to 1PM (37.5 hour work week, no Sundays)Competitive Pay starting at $18.00/hour, based on experience and location, along with monthly performance-based incentives for achieving established production tiers Comprehensive health benefits packageOver 3 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year Paid time off to volunteerTuition reimbursement and professional designation programs401(K) plan with company matchComplimentary AAA Premier level membershipThe primary duties of a Travel Agent are:Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air travel, car and hotelEducate our clients on preferred travel products and services offered by the AgencySuccessfully meet or exceed goals through relationship development with our members as well as growing your client base through new business referralsCross-sell relevant products to enhance the travel experience such as the AAA Travel Advantage Visa Credit CardPrepare and process relevant travel documents and invoices in an organized and efficient manner.Comply with and remain educated on current Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) regulations and AAA Club Alliance policies and proceduresMinimum Qualifications:A high school diploma or equivalent (a graduate of an accredited travel school preferred)Minimum of 2 years sales experience required; Travel Industry and/or personal travel experience preferredExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficient computer skills including the ability to multitask in several websites and programsKnowledge of Geography and current world eventsAAA Club Alliance (ACA) is an equal opportunity employer.Our investment in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:At ACA, we are committed to cultivating a welcoming and inclusive workplace of team members with diverse backgrounds and experiences to enable us to meet our goals and support our values while serving our Members and customers.
