Job Role Description: Supply Chain Analyst
Position
Overview: The Supply Chain Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting
the Supply Chain, Operations, and Clinical departments by providing
vital data and analytical insights. Utilizing advanced tools like GME,
Kinaxis, Tableau, and Excel, this professional ensures efficient data
management, analysis, and support to optimize supply chain
processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis and
Reporting: Utilize GME, Kinaxis, Tableau, and Excel to extract,
analyze, and present data. Generate reports for identifying KPIs,
cost-saving opportunities, budget variance justifications, product
standardization, inventory valuations, and par level recommendations.
Create action plans based on interpretation of data and bring to
resolution. Maintain a comprehensive library of report specifications
and outputs.
• ERP and Database Management: Act as a subject
matter expert in GME Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and related
systems. Manage the Supply Chain ERP database, ensuring the integrity
of item master data and conducting data cleansing initiatives. Lead
efforts in database performance optimization and support ERP database
management tasks.
• Vendor Analysis: Establish and maintain
relationships with vendors - assess vendor operations and enforce
compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor and collect data on
current operational schedules, including manufacturing scheduling,
sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery.
• Process
Improvement and Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain and
Finance personnel to identify process improvement opportunities.
Facilitate root cause analyses to systematically address issues and
educate end users on recommended improvements. Create performance
reports for management to review
• Inventory and Production
Month-End Management: Oversee inventory location updates and support
physical inventory processes in collaboration with Inventory Analyst.
Manage month-end close procedures for various supply chain modules,
ensuring timely and accurate completion. Review forecast vs Actuals in
all inventory positions and Root causes for missing deltas
•
Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify
efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes. Identify
waste and material variances and take action to rectify.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management,
Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience with GME,
Kinaxis, Tableau, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and
collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably
Lawson, and a clear understanding of supply chain processes.
The Supply Chain Analyst is pivotal in driving efficiency and

analytics to support decision-making and operational excellence.
