Ahead, LLC is looking for an experienced Digitizer to work from our office located in New Bedford, Ma. This is not a remote or hybrid position.nnWe are a full service headwear, apparel, and accessory business. We offer a relaxed work environment, paid time off, great benefits and opportunities for growth!nnThe Digitizer Editor uses embroidery software (Wilcom, Compucon, Pulse, Sierra, and Data Stitch) to fulfill technical requirements of orders by creating embroidery files for commercial embroidery machines in a production environment. Accurate, timely completion of the duties of the Digitizing Editor is an essential component in ensuring that companywide goals of quality and on-time delivery are met.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities:nnUse embroidery specific software, to create embroidery files and merge logos to prepare orders for production such as Wilcom, Compucon, Pulse, Sierra, and Data StitchnnInspect quality of files from our accounts to ensure best embroidery quality.nnSample files on product to ensure quality of logos to prevent production floor edits.nnWork with production floor to edit all quality issues to prevent returns and future edits.nnFocus on reaching daily production goals by completing at least 3-4 jobs per hour.nnWork on orders in a timely manner to ensure they are going into production before the scheduled ship date on the order.nnEnsure all order notes and details are followed to prevent returned products.nnParticipate in cross training within the team to maximize production and quality goals.nnProvide feedback to management.nnAdditional duties as assigned.nnMarginal Job Functions:nnPurge/ update account filesnnEducation and Experience:nnHigh school diploma required.nnAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.nnSkills/Qualifications:nnKnowledge of relevant computer software and systems.nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills.nnExcellent electronic communication and functional ability.nnAbility to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.nnGood problem solving skills.nnAbility to meet deadlines.nnExcellent attention to detail.nnMust possess initiative, energy and drive.nnAbility to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.nnExcellent organizational skills.nnVision RequirementsnnClose vision.nnColor vision.nnAbility to adjust focus.nnPowered by JazzHR
