urpose: The Workforce Development
Training Specialist will work closely with department supervisors,
leadership, and employees to identify, coordinate, and facilitate the
completion of competency assessments, training requirements and
identify ongoing training opportunities. |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Owns and executes the organization's
Competence, Awareness, and Training process, including:
- Completing onboarding and orientation training
for new team members.
- Facilitating and
ensuring completion of competence assessments and resulting training
needs are completed.
- Focus on and
participate in continuous improvement, lean, and process improvement
activities.

- Work with
employees to build tailored career growth plans.
- Collaborate with technical subject matter
experts to develop and deliver training materials and programs in a
classroom or work environment related to Safety, Quality Management
System procedures, process instructions, and forms.
- Coordinate and Schedule trainings and make sure
training records are current.
- Delivering training sessions.
- Assess learning outcomes by creating short quizzes and/or a
survey for all QMS readings.
- Schedule
training sessions for times that work for the majority of a group,
will include the coordination of employees on days, swings, and
graveyard shifts; communicate training schedules companywide to ensure
everyone knows the scheduled times of the training.
The Workforce Development Training Specialist, as an

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education,
or another related field and at least 1 year experience in employee
engagement, training, and/or the coordination of training and
professional development or
- High school diploma or
equivalent and at least 3 years of employee engagement, training,
and/or the coordination of training and professional development
experience.
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing
organization preferred.
