**What's a typical day as Assembly Worker? You'll be:**
+ Assembling a variety of subassemblies and finished products in the Tool and Head departments
+ Interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine correct procedures
+ Using hand tools, power tools, feeler gauges, air-driven and battery tools, arbor presses, and hand trucks
+ Installing and assembling electrical components such as switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses using schematics and wiring diagrams
+ Conducting functional and operating tests to verify dimensional specifications, alignment, and product quality
+ Identifying and correcting discrepancies or defects in the assembly process
+ Documenting assembly processes, test results, and quality issues

**JOB OVERVIEW:** Under direction of the Production Supervisor, operates high-speed lining and assembly machines, printer, assembly equipment and highlighters. Performs quality checks and produces finished goods according to work order.
**RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES** , including but not limited to:
1. Performs all tasks necessary to operate equipment according to procedure.
2. Implements customer required quality requirements by performing specified quality checks/inspections per the work order.
3. Packages and labels finished products according to the work order.
4. Perform line clearances at completion and start of orders.
5. Communicates key items within the plant environment on safety, quality, maintenance, production and continuous improvement.
6. Follow work instructions as needed and may be asked to train others to those instructions.

8. Removes scrap material from the production area.
9. Maintain 5s environment in the work area.

Provides technical leadership and guidance for the planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects. Project Engineering Leadership
+ Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
+ Lead and/or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan has been established.

+ Conduct weekly or bi-weekly project meetings to outline upcoming deliverables and tasks with the responsible personnel identified clearly.
+ Coordinate with clients on project status and support project meetings as necessary.
+ Maintain project workflow and thorough communication across multi-disciplinary projects, both internal and external to WSP.
+ Forecast upcoming project requirements to assist in resource planning.
+ Facilitate and adhere to WSP's QA/QC procedures.
+ Participate in industry conferences, both internal and external, to improve professional growth while fostering knowledge transfer to colleagues.
+ Demonstrate transmission line design expertise pertaining to PLS-CADD, structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, structure loading, material procurement, construction specifications, construction methods, construction estimates, and construction support.
+ Lead project teams of varying sizes.
+ Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities, as needed.
 Project Manager (PM) Support
+ Support the Project Manager with project status reports.
+ Work with PMs to develop scope, schedule, and budget for new projects.
+ Work with PMs to identify out-of-scope items and support work scope variances.
+ Provide weekly or bi-weekly project updates and project forecasting.
+ Lead and/or support the PM with meetings with clients, both in person and remotely.

**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

+ Professional Engineering (PE) licensure.

+ Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation

The Lost Time Claims Specialist II is responsible for coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation and disposition of assigned claims for the WorkPartners Workers Compensation business unit. The Lost Time Claims Specialist II will apply litigation management skills to aggressively manage litigation activities, budgets and claim outcomes while considering the overall impact to the customer and company. The Lost Time Claims Specialist II will also ensure claims are processed within company policies, procedures, and within individual's prescribed authority within established best practices and performance standards. The Lost Time Claims Specialist II should possess strategic thought process skills to effectively and efficiently manage loss exposures.

+ Assign medical or other experts to case and arrange for medical examinations when necessary.
+ Develop lost time claim disposition skills under limited direction of supervisor.
+ Pro-actively manages the case resolution process. May participate in mediations within limit of settlement authority.
+ Ensure proper referrals and timely updates to appropriate Reinsurer(s).
+ Actively participate in claim reviews with clients.

+ Communicate claim status with the injured worker, clients, and broker as needed.
+ Effectively evaluate, negotiate and resolve claims within delegated authority utilizing the appropriate denials or releases.
+ Establish appropriate reserves and review on a regular basis to ensure adequacy. Make recommendations to set reserves at appropriate level for claims outside of authority level.
+ Investigate the claims through telephone, written correspondence, and/or personal contact with claimants, attorneys, clients, witnesses and others having pertinent information.
+ Provide required reports to AVP, Claims, Underwriting, Reinsurance and Actuarial on significant exposure cases.
+ Appropriate state licensing to be obtained for assigned jurisdictions.
+ Effectively evaluate and resolve coverage issues for all Workers' Compensation claim types.
+ Effectively and efficiently manage vendors and expenses.
+ Participate in monthly account renewal meetings as needed.
+ Mentoring and training new employees as appropriately assigned by management.
+ Bachelors and/or advanced degree or a minimum of 3 years of Workers Compensation claims handling experience.
+ Minimum of 2 years of Workers Compensation lost time claims handling experience.
+ Pennsylvania Workers Comp Insurance Adjusters license highly preferred.
+ Experience with NJ, DE and VA workers compensation are a bonus.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE**
+ Analyzing and processing claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim.
+ Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
+ Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
+ Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to requests of directions in a professional and timely manner.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Education & Licensing: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
+ High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
+ Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

The position falls within the transmission department of the organization. The engineer will be working with sr engineers to complete projects that support our utility customer. They will work with in-house and client engineers and designers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the engineering and design activities related to transmission line design such as engineering analysis and design, route selection, material acquisition, structural and foundation design, and project and construction management
- Prepare project construction documents such as: plan and profile drawings; design drawings; engineering, material, and construction specifications; project schedules and bills of material
- Develop project design alternatives and corresponding cost estimates
- Design new transmission facilities with voltages ranging from 12 kV and 765 kV
- Utilize PLS-CADD to model transmission line design project.
- Conduct contractor bid and construction meetings and assist in ensuring that work activities are performed safely and in accordance with plans and established schedules, and in accordance with AEP policies, rules and standards, and in compliance with external regulations
- Coordinate effectively with governmental and regulatory agencies and contractors to secure project permit
- Provide leadership to facilitate project completion, to train and mentor other engineers, and to develop measurable work area goals and objectives
- Function as a project lead for transmission projects
- Coordinate work activities of others within the work group and department to complete transmission projects
- Provide training and guidance to lower-level employees
- Initiate corrective action when substation project objectives are not being met
- Work under supervision of higher-level engineers
- Position will require occasional site visits
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Two to five years of experience in utilities working with Transmission Line Design
- Two to five years of experience completing engineering projects from start to finish
- Two to five years of experience scoping, estimating, and ordering materials for Transmission Lines projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering (ABET)
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering (ABET) will count toward years of experience
- An EIT License is desirable but not require
