We are hiring a Director to serve in the role of Research Development and Advisory on the DBP team.
This position is open to hires in Washington, D.C.; Richmond, VA; or is open to remote employment within the continental U.S. This position has in-person travel expectations of up to 40%.
Big Picture Objectives:
- Serve as diversity and inclusion generalist and conduct research when necessary.
- Meet and exceed member expectations to help support renewal and retention efforts.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for member advisory, inquiries, research requests and communications.
- Work across the EAB Seramount team between Relationship Management, Marketing, Events, Insights and Solutions teams to help our members achieve their HR and Inclusion objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to serve high impact solutions and offerings to support the client delivery model by spending 70% of your time in market with members (virtual, in-person).
- Achieve high level of proficiency in HR and DEI subject areas by influencing research and insights with the new types of content relevant for your areas of expertise and/or to better service members' needs.
- Serve as a generalist on HR practices while specializing in Talent and Workforce Strategic design and implementation. This includes conducting client calls on HR and DEI related inquiries, providing practitioner consulting on development and execution of strategy. Positioning as a trusted extension of our clients' teams - specifically related to the development of HR strategic thinking, design, and business implementation.
- Ability to deliver presentations to our DBP members on an array of subjects both new and existing.
- Provide guidance in the creation of resources (presentations, guides, toolkits) for our advisory library of content.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and marketing teams to identify, develop and build proposals to secure new member pipeline, close new deals and execute renewals.
- Support Seramount events and conferences, serve as client advocate for content, facilitate and add to member experiences.
- Partner with marketing to create and/or advise on communications and member outreach (e.g. blogs or articles, HR / DEI resources, and promotional messages).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 6-8+ years of post-graduate professional work experience as an HR Consultant and/or HR Practitioner, with 3+ years' experience in DEI consulting.
- Concrete understanding of HR's role and responsibilities in implementing significant organizational impact in the workforce, workplace and marketplace.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Utilize both research and insights to deliver recommendations and solutions to our clients.
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement and change management.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, follow through and work independently as well as within a highly collaborative team structure.
- Demonstrated ownership of and accountability towards business goals.

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $87,500 - $130,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The School Receptionist is responsible for managing all internal and external people who present themselves at the school's front office. This includes providing information and directing customers to other appropriate offices, announcing their arrival to administrators and applicable staff, and overseeing the sign-in/sign-out sheet. The School Receptionist will greet and interact with visitors to the school in a positive and professional manner, including in person, on the phone and in writing. The School Receptionist will also provide general clerical support to the school office staff and assigned administrators.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS U:
- Minimum of high school graduation or GED
- Some experience working in an office is required.
- Ability to effectively greet and welcome visitors to the office in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to contact administrative staff as appropriate should situations become difficult when attempting to assist any visitor
- Ability to communicate with various groups of people, including communication with parents, teachers, transportation, administrators and outside agencies
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities

- Serves as receptionist in front office of the school
- Operates multi-line telephone system to receive incoming calls and messages
- Greets parents, staff and the public and directs patrons to destinations and sites
- Answers and refers telephone and in-person inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Takes messages as necessary
- Maintains familiarity with general information relevant to the Alamance-Burlington School System
- Performs general secretarial and clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, faxing, data entry, filing, phone management, etc.) for the purpose of supporting office operations
- Provides assistance with special projects
- Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Assistant Principal
