Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Mammography Technologist to join the Outpatient Imaging department for our client located in The Woodlands, TX.
This 13wk contract position, 7:00 am-3:30 pm (Monday-Friday)
Scrub color: Pink or black
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography exams, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare and position patients, administer contrast when necessary, and ensure high-quality imaging.
- Enter and monitor patient data and perform quality assurance on equipment.
- Assist with ACR accreditation applications.
- Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Promote a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment for patients and staff.
- Support team goals and mentor less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum 2 current years experience working a Mammo Tech.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- ARRT registered in Radiology (ARRT-R) and Mammography (ARRT-M).
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support by the American Heart Association.
- EPIC Charting experience, DEXA Scan
Requirements:
- Titers (MMR, Varicella, Hep B)
- TDAP vaccine (booster every 10yrs)
- TB Skin test or Chest x-ray current
- Transcripts for highest level of education.

• Must have strong clinical skills with ability to handle variety of procedures and patients

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills required
