Disagreements between parents and children are common and can lead to some almighty rows and fallings out.

The case was heard in the city of Almeria, and, unsurprisingly, the judge ruled in favor of the mother.

The court ruling said: “She would not be a responsible mother if she allowed her son to be distracted by the mobile phone and fail to study.”
