Boots to hire over 10,000 workers for the festive period

Boots is set to hire more than 10,000 people for its stores, warehouses, and operations to cope with the festive season.

The health and beauty retailer said the positions will be available in a variety of areas.

This is intended for people looking for work in the run-up to the holidays.

Over 6,500 Christmas customer assistant positions are available, as are up to 3,000 positions at the Boots Beeston and Burton-on-Trent distribution centers.

This includes warehouse workers and 2,000 positions for in-store customer service representatives.

Boots head of recruitment, Donna Hodgins said: “We’re looking to recruit a diverse range of team members that represent the communities we serve every year.

Boots' team member benefits will be available to new employees.

This includes a market-competitive hourly rate and access to the Boots team member discount scheme from day one.

Boots has recently improved the programme for all team members.

To help with the rising cost of living, Boots is offering 45 percent off all of its own brand products until at least January 2023.

This includes the new Boots everyday range, as well as over 6,300 products.
