Iceland creates 500 jobs for Christmas

Iceland is launching a nationwide festive recruitment drive as it prepares to face the Christmas rush.
The food retailer is aiming to fill more than 500 part-time and full-time positions across the country, both in store and on the road.
In store there are two roles available–Retail Assistants and Online Picking Team members.
Retail Assistants will serve customers, delivering the high standards and great service that Iceland is known for. The Online Picking Team will be tasked with accurately and efficiently fulfilling customers’ online shopping orders.
There are part-time and full-time roles available and a variety of shift patterns (Online Picking shifts can start between 1am and 1am).
For anyone who prefers life out on the open road, there are Delivery Driver roles available around the country. This role involves delivering customers’ shopping to their doors and helping out with the wider store operation by working on a till or packing out stock when it’s needed.
No experience necessary–drivers just need to have had a current driving licence for at least three years with no more than three points.
