The Entertainer is gearing up to recruit 800 new store staff across the UK for the busy holiday period.
These positions include seasonal sales assistants and night stock assistants, offering contracts ranging from 8 to 20 hours per week.

Night stock assistants will start with a 20-hour contract, which may increase to 37.5 hours as Christmas approaches.
These roles are ideal for those looking for flexible shifts and extra income during the festive period.
Moreover, The Entertainer plans to allow some temporary employees to apply for permanent positions once their seasonal contracts conclude.

This hiring effort comes as the firm appoints Andrew Murphy, the former Chief Operating Officer of John Lewis, as its new CEO.
Murphy takes over from Mark Campbell, who left the toy retailer earlier this year.
