Reliance has plans to hire engineering graduates across its business sectors, from petrochemicals to new energy.

The company has launched the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) 2024 program, a nationwide entry-level recruitment drive targeting young engineers in India.

The program aims to cultivate high-potential engineering talent for key technical roles in various business verticals.

It transitioned to an online application process for the first time.

Registration for the program began on January 11 and will remain open until January 19, as indicated on the company's official website.

It is a departure from the conventional campus recruitment approach, which is limited to a select number of institutes.

The online applications seek to provide equal opportunities to engineering students nationwide.

ISRO Chairman S Somanath recently commented that India's talent pool extends beyond major cities and prestigious institutions.

The program encourages online applications from 2024 batch B.Tech and B.E. graduates in chemical, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines from AICTE-approved institutes.

Reliance plans to conduct online assessments, including cognitive tests and subject matter evaluations, between February 5 and 8.

Shortlisted candidates will then undergo personal interviews from February 23 to March 1, with final selections expected by the end of March.

The open roles are in its oil-to-chemicals business, oil and gas exploration and production, project management group, petrochemicals procurement and contracting, and new energy.

The GET program is a platform for aspiring engineers, offering structured training and exposure through a well-defined learning journey.

Reliance has established a dedicated website providing information on eligibility criteria, the entire recruitment process, and an online registration portal.
