Madonna Fights Back Against Fans’ Lawsuit Over Concert Delay

Singer Madonna

Madonna is hitting back at a lawsuit filed by fans upset over a late start to one of her Celebration Tour concerts.

Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden sued the singer for her December show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn beginning at 10:30 p.m, two hours later than advertised.

The Queen of Pop seeks to have the case dismissed.

Her legal team argues the claims are baseless, highlighting the illogical and self-contradictory nature of the allegations.

According to court documents, Madonna alleges the plaintiffs' grievances are unfounded since they only received their tickets after purchase.

This makes it impossible for them to have been deceived by the ticket's stated start time.

The motion also points out Fellows and Hadden did not specify any other misleading advertising they relied on when buying their tickets, calling for the complaint's total dismissal.

The lawsuit accused Madonna and event organizers Live Nation and Barclays Center of failing to notify attendees of the concert's delayed start.

It claimed the delay left fans stranded late at night, impacting their work and family obligations the following day.

However, Madonna's dismissal motion counters that one of the plaintiffs had publicly acknowledged never missing a Madonna tour.

It suggests they were aware of her propensity for late starts.

The legal battle continues without a clear resolution, as there has been no judge's decision on the motion to dismiss.

The concert, initially scheduled for July, was postponed to December after Madonna faced health issues, adding another layer to the complex situation.
