Billionaire business owners are the driving force behind huge companies.

Amazon would not exist without Jeff Bezos, and the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs is an integral part of that company’s current success.

These people are, rightly or wrongly, regarded as high-level business thinkers and are gifted with an incredible drive for success a lot of us don’t have.

However, with that talent sometimes comes some eccentric behavior.

Here are some bizarre habits of famous business leaders.

Steve Jobs had weeks of eating one type of food

Steve Jobs, who died in 2011 aged 56, was a strict vegan who went through periods of being a “fruitist” (only eating fruit).

He also had a slightly odd habit of only eating one food item for weeks at a time.

For example, he spent a week only eating carrots.

Jobs was also known to de-stress by soaking his feet in the office toilets.

Bill Gates would memorize employees’ numberplates

The Microsoft billionaire has admitted in the early days of Microsoft he would memorize the number plates of his staff.

This was so he could keep track of their comings and goings.

Let’s hope he’s a bit less suspicious these days, considering Microsoft now has 120,000 staff in the U.S.
