Walmart worker charged with theft of merchandise in Atlanta

Judgement

Police were called to a Walmart in Atlanta where a member of staff was arrested for theft and drugs offences.

Officers were called to the Walmart on Windward Parkway in Milton on June 24 and an Atlanta woman was arrested for felony theft and various narcotics offenses.

Police were notified by store security that the lady, who worked in the online order department, had been apprehended while pushing a shopping cart containing more than $1,000 in merchandise, largely electronics, out of the store.

She claimed the products were for a valid online client, but shop employees said online orders are put in separate carts and taken out a separate exit.
