The Value Stream Manager (VSM) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end made-to-stock value stream at the Cleveland, TN plant. The Value Stream Manager partners closely with the Operations Manager to execute strategic initiatives, achieve operational targets, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the value stream. This position plays a critical role in developing frontline talent, driving operational excellence, and ensuring sustainable business results.

- Jointly own end-to-end performance of the Made-to-Stock value stream, with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Directly supervise and develop 30 - 40 hourly production employees across relevant processes.
- Act as the primary decision-maker for assigned value streams and serve as a backup to the Operations Manager as needed.
- Manage production flow from scheduling through finished goods delivery to ensure efficient, predictable outcomes.
- Provide daily floor leadership, including prioritization of work, performance coaching, attendance management, and enforcement of standard work.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement through regular communication and engagement.
- Develop and maintain current-state Value Stream Maps to understand material, information, and process flows; identify waste, bottlenecks, and constraints.
- Create future-state value stream maps using Lean principles to define improved workflows, capacity planning, and operational standards.
- Lead implementation of future-state improvements, including process changes, equipment or technology enhancements, and policy updates.
- Analyze operational data (throughput, labor efficiency, downtime, scrap, etc.) to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain (materials, planning), Engineering, Quality, and Marketing to align resources and resolve dependencies impacting productivity and delivery.
- Partner with Engineering and CI teams to support new product introductions, process validations, and technology implementations.
- Track, report, and communicate key value stream metrics through daily management systems, tier boards, and KPI reviews.
- Present value stream performance, improvement initiatives, and results in leadership forums including Operations Reviews, Plant Staff meetings, and customer visits.

Directs and supervises a team of operations/maintenance personnel in a cross-functional multi-craft, multi-skilled plant environment at a combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant? The position's primary responsibility is plant operations and responsiveness to start-up and dispatch requests as well as assign and direct operations/maintenance work on shift.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
+ Ensures Safe work practices that comply with all OSHA and Entergy Safety Processes. Provides Compliance oversight relating to NERC and Environmental requirements.
+ Provides direct supervision to hourly multi-craft employees during a rotating 12 hour shift.
+ Ensures that all dispatch directives are met within operational guidelines during 12 hour rotating shift.
