**Responsibilities:**
+ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
+ Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs. Dependent upon assignment, this role may be working directly in a special education classroom, working in a general education classroom or environment, and/or working one-on-one with a student or small group of students.
+ Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
+ After being trained, assignments require paraeducators to assist in toileting/ diapering activities with students of significant needs. The Paraeducator will only assist in this regard under the direction and direct supervision of the District/School.
+ Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all students

About this job:
Trains and assists with budget management responsibilities, including budget development, monitoring, reporting and analysis. Assists in preparation of monthly school budget status reports; provides assistance to staff as needed to identify areas of concern. The Financial Partner performs strategic analysis related to school budgets, directly supports school leaders in budget development and use of funds and performs other special projects.
This role supports central departments with all budget management responsibilities on the department finance team.

What You'll Do:
- Educate school administration on the allocation of resources in the Student Based Budgeting (SBB) model. Provide insight as to how to equate student projections to budget estimates.
- Provide guidance to school administrative staff in the implementation and management of a comprehensive financial model for a school.
- With an assigned network of approximately 10 departments, the Financial Partner will review and become familiar with the school-wide plan to educate school administrators
- Proactively identify additional sources of funding available to the schools such as grants and guide school administrative staff through the application process.
- Work with school and central administrative staff to increase community engagement with school budget process.
- Provide financial analysis of school or department budgets, including identifying and researching variance analysis, risks and solutions and operational needs.
- Facilitate regular meetings with school clerical, administrative and central administration staff regarding the financial health of the school or department, as well as facilitate discussion on upcoming goals, spending needs or changes.
- Provide training to school clerical and administrative staff; teach them to prepare for Budget Office financial reviews, project year end balances, prepare journal entries, make budget transfers and properly use petty cash accounts, pupil activity funds and procurement cards.
- Develop training content to be used in presentations to school staff during key points.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting or finance; or equivalent experience.
- A Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Five (5) years experience in providing group and individual training to various employee populations.
- Five (5) years experience required in budgeting, accounting, and data analysis as well as research and evaluation skills utilizing automated systems (prefer experience in governmental accounting and budgeting environment).
- Skilled in using Excel pivot tables, graphing, macros, formulas and linking.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Experience and proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License, appropriate insurance coverage and acceptable driving record for the past three years.
- Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines.

About This JobResponsible for providing vision, strategic direction, and leading teams who work closely with all district‑managed schools to support them in driving toward excellence in the areas of instructional and student support programs. Areas of responsibility include specialized student services, academics, multilingual education, portfolio management, college and career success, and extended learning. Works collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, implement, and evaluate District programs. The Deputy Superintendent shall act on matters delegated by the Superintendent. Oversight for budgetary planning that allocates resources in support of the District’s efforts.
