**About Your Role:**
As a Director, HR Business Partner supporting Supply Chain at Dollar Tree, you will serve as the primary HR leader for an assigned region of distribution centers. **Your day-to-day responsibilities include:**

**Leadership & Team Support**
+ Lead and develop a team of HR Managers and/or HR Business Partners supporting distribution centers

+ Serve as a key escalation point for HR-related matters within the region
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
+ 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including support of operations (supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, or retail)
+ Experience supporting multi-site, high-volume environments with a strong employee relations component
+ Proven ability to influence and coach operational leaders at the Director level and below
+ Experience leading and managing remote teams in a field-based environment
+ Strong working knowledge of federal employment laws including CA and WA state laws
+ Ability to travel 50%
+ Reside in mid-west or west coast to travel to responsible distribution centers

The position falls within the Distribution Department of the organization. They will design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 12.5 kV to 34.5 kV. They will engineer and design overhead and underground cable/conduit distribution design work packages associated with new customer construction projects. They will review completed designs and design products to ensure compliance with client quality and consistency standards.
Responsibilities
+ Design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV.
+ Develop overhead, URD, re-conductoring, and asset replacement projects, as well as underground cable/conduit work packages.
+ Design complex distribution projects in urban and rural environments, ensuring compliance with engineering and construction specifications.
+ Coordinate small design teams to develop budgets, prepare scoping documents, design criteria, and project deliverables.
+ Provide engineering assistance during construction and attend construction meetings, coordination efforts, and community outreach as needed.
+ Review completed designs to ensure compliance with quality and consistency standards.
+ Lead and coordinate work activities within the work group, team, department, and external partners to complete substation projects.
+ Provide training and guidance to lower-level employees.
+ Identify and initiate corrective actions when project objectives are not met.
+ Interpret codes and regulations and develop standards for construction projects.
+ Promote engineering professionalism and standards.
+ Develop, recommend, and implement plans with defined goals, objectives, and requirements, including scheduling, resources, and information for complex engineering.
+ Travel up to 30% of the time to client sites as required by project needs.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with electric utility distribution design projects.
+ Proficiency in distribution design and power distribution.
+ Experience working on utility distribution services or electrical engineering within commercial construction.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design.
+ Experience with overhead distribution, underground utilities, and electric system design.
+ PE License is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Eight+ years of experience with electric utility distribution design projects.
+ Eight+ years of experience in overhead, URD, re-conductoring, and asset replacement projects.
+ Eight+ years of experience with complex distribution projects in urban and rural environments.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited).
+ Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) will count towards years of experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
