In-Flight Crew Resources and Insights Co-ops will work with analytics professionals in the operation focused on Flight Attendant crew optimization.
Though individual responsibilities vary by function or department, some common work responsibilities are listed below:
+ Drive operational excellence by measuring current operational performance and/or customer satisfaction and identifying optimization opportunities
+ Research, analyze, and interpret operational data
+ Develop new reports and dashboards and automate existing ones
+ Perform reliability/root-cause analysis
+ Evaluate and provide recommendations for improvement of key operational metrics
+ Seek process improvement recommendations to proactively reduce flight delays through schedule optimization
+ Maintain, run and improve staffing models to support scheduling operations
+ Provide strategic and operational support and develop performance metrics and goals
+ Develop success factors and statistical evaluations of new procedures and systems
Students are **required** to complete **three alternating semesters of work** and school; all rotations must be completed before the student's graduation. _Note: Students are not permitted to work part-time hours and should refrain from taking classes and working as a co-op in the same semester._ The full-time work schedule for this role, while remaining actively enrolled in an approved undergraduate curriculum, is as follows:

+ Summer 2028

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Enrolled in an Undergraduate program in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or similar 4-year degree program
- Available for three alternating semesters for full-time work
- Ability to report in-person to Delta's World Headquarters (Atlanta, GA) or willing to relocate each semester (housing stipends will be provided to students who meet the minimum criteria)
- Team oriented and highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools and concepts
- Proficiency in Python, SQL or similar database query tool knowledge and Macro programming is strongly preferred
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

The Flight Training Automation Strategy Co-op will
support initiatives focused on improving and modernizing systems that enable
pilot and instructor training operations.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, product
ownership, and operational workflows, helping drive requirements, support
testing efforts, and ensure system solutions align with real-world operational
needs.
The Co-op will gain hands-on experience working with
complex enterprise systems, cross-functional stakeholders, and product delivery
processes in a highly operational environment.
**Key Responsibilities**

Partner
with business stakeholders (training planners, instructors, operations teams)
to understand current processes, system usage, and pain points
·
Document
and analyze end-to-end workflows, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and
improvement opportunities

Support
product ownership activities, including:

Writing
and refining user stories

Defining
requirements and acceptance criteria
o
Maintaining
and prioritizing backlog items
·
Collaborate
with IT and development teams to:
o
Clarify
requirements
o
Align
on system capabilities and constraints

Support
delivery of enhancements

Assist
in User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

Validate
system functionality

Identify
defects or gaps
o
Ensure
solutions meet business requirements

Help
bridge communication between:

ongoing initiatives to modernize legacy systems and improve usability and

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ TheCo-op position requires a candidate to be enrolled as an undergraduate(sophomore or above) that has successfully completed a minimum of 30semester hours.
+ Musthave a minimum 2.5 GPA and be able to maintain the minimum GPA.
+ Workingas a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation.This position is intended to provide you with educational, andprofessional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
+ Thisposition requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannotactively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as aCo-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters.
