We are looking for a self-starter healthcare architect to drive projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction. The architect's responsibilities include managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, and construction documents, and assisting project teams. You should be able to take ownership of your project, be it the design and construction of a new building, an extension, alterations, or a restoration project, and deliver on the client's requirements.

To be successful in this position you should want to work in the growth phase of a company, have a good understanding of healthcare construction technologies, and be an effective communicator. An outstanding Architect will have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate superior technical design skills and be able to create functional, creative, and sustainable designs.
  • Research, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
  • Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
  • Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into a unified design for client review and approval.
  • Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
  • Produces construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Working with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check workers' activities in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
  • Interfaces with the Head of Sales and Head of Operations and Strategy.
  • Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
  • Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.

**What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage visitor flow as needed.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all activities, observations, and incidents while on duty.
+ Work collaboratively with facility staff and local emergency services during incidents or drills to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

The Position: We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Project Architect to join our Los Angeles team. This role focuses on leading the design and technical delivery of large-scale healthcare projects, ranging from advanced cancer centers to behavioral health facilities and major hospital expansions. This is a hybrid position, with only 1–2 in-office days per week, offering a flexible schedule rarely found in the industry.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead project design and technical systems from schematic design through construction administration.

How you will contribute

As a consultant you will be working closely with healthcare clients on a range of complex assignments. Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and modeling skills are a must; the ability to create and maintain models such as synergy analyses, pro forma financial analyses, and/or 13-week cash flows is a plus
  • A strong understanding of accounting and finance including the ability to review and understand financial statements and disclosures
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate with and present information to all levels of client personnel
  • Solid project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to conduct operational data analysis and synthesize information to assist in the development of reports and KPIs is a must
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills a must; experience with Visio, Tableau or Power BI, SQL, SPSS, benchmarking is a plus
