This role provides high-quality phlebotomy services in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting. The Phlebotomist I performs blood draws and other specimen collections, ensures accurate labeling and processing, supports troubleshooting and training, and contributes to continuous workflow improvements while maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
+ Perform venipuncture and blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.

+ Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and verify that all information is accurate and complete.
+ Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by specific test orders to maintain specimen integrity.
+ Check all test requisitions or computer-generated labels against scripts or orders to ensure 100% accuracy.

**BAYADA Home Health Care** is currently seeking an experienced **Nurses Aide, CNA** for a **full-time** opportunity to complete hospice **visits** to clients located throughout **New Castle County** **.** As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

**A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:**
+ Have at least one year of work experience
+ **Must be listed on the Delaware Aide Registry, active and in good standing.**
+ Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
+ Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
+ Have a criminal background check completed
+ Meet all state requirements

We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in the following counties Southern New Castle, Kent and Sussex in BAYADA's Dover Office.
**Payrates**
**$17.85 - $18.85**
**What you'll do:**
Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA CNA, you'll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:
+ Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
+ Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
+ Meal preparation and feeding
+ Range of motion/exercises
+ Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
+ Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
**What makes you a great candidate:**
+ Have at least one year of work experience.
+ Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course or a 75-hour Home Health Aide certification.
+ A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
+ Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
