In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to protecting public health and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, pumps, valves, and control systems.
  • Perform routine inspections of plant processes and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Collect and analyze wastewater samples; record and interpret data to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Adjust chemical feeds, flows, and processes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues; perform minor repairs.

Minimum Qualifications

Fabrication Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Describe necessary knowledge and skills, and type and amount of formal schooling.
  • Work experience normally acquired to attain
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years background experience in packing house (beef preferred) to learn about the various products that are produced
  • Knowledge of products and their specifications is essential.
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to motivate workers
  • Bilingual important, but not mandatory as long as translators are in line area.

Responsibilities:

  • Insure the quality and yields of products on the line.
  • Supervise all hourly employees on the line.
  • Responsible for the safety and motivation of all employees supervised.
  • Insure that all products leaving the line area meet required specifications.
  • Prepare pre-operational paperwork and insure the line is clean and sanitized before the day's operations begin.
  • Insure area is properly staffed to meet production needs.
  • Prepare employee paperwork for all employees on the line
  • Job performance is measured by the General Foreman: Fabrication on such criteria as the overall productivity of the area and how well supervisor manages hourly employees.
  • Understand and adhere to all union regulations in regard to hourly employees.
  • Attend and give input at daily supervisor meetings within the fabrication area.
  • Run line meetings once a month for hourly employees on line.
  • Responsible for administering follow-up training on all personnel on line.
  • Directly responsible for discipline procedures with hourly employees on the line. These may range from verbal warnings to terminations.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

Duties include scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of work as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager. Recommends personnel actions such as hiring, terminations, and/or disciplinary actions.

Education:

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Experience:

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our organization as a Sanitation Site Manager. As a Sanitation Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of sanitation operations at our facility.

Responsibilities
  • Sanitation Operations Management
    • Develop and implement sanitation protocols, procedures, and guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
    • Oversee daily sanitation activities, including cleaning, disinfecting, and waste management, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular inspections to assess sanitation conditions, identify potential issues, and address them promptly.
    • Maintain inventory of sanitation supplies, equipment, and chemicals, and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement and communicate with corporate office regarding nightly logs, payroll, chemical and supply orders, timesheets, etc.
    • Train and supervise sanitation staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure optimal performance and adherence to sanitation protocols.
    • Monitor and manage the budget for sanitation operations, identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Confirm compliance with all internal company procedures and policies, including Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, IT, and general customer service.
    • Stay updated with local, state, and federal sanitation regulations and guidelines, ensuring the facility’s compliance and implementing necessary changes as required.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to sanitation operations, including cleaning schedules, inspection reports, and training records, to demonstrate compliance and facilitate audits.
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure sanitation processes meet established standards.
    • Serve as a liaison and attend sanitation meetings (e.g., production, USDA, audits, etc.).
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any sanitation‑related issues affecting product quality and safety and submit corrective action procedures to customers when necessary.
    • Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety guidelines, providing training on safe work practices, and promptly addressing any safety concerns or incidents.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of sanitation operations.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in sanitation management, and recommend relevant improvements or upgrades.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in sanitation management, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations, including those specific to the industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality control and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office applications.
  • Certification in sanitation management or related fields is desirable.
