**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Provides Delegated Clinical Appropriateness Reviews by covering the specified territories as assigned:
+ Establish 2-3 cases a day for each market covered (up to 6 markets); ensures attendance on all health plan and local calls; calls in for the weekly Primary Care Provider (PCP) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) meetings covering the assigned territories.
+ Advises other physician reviewers.
+ Other duties as assigned and modified by manager.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**
+ Excellent analytical and deductive reasoning skills
+ Good judgement and problem-solving skills
+ Professional and effective communication skills
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Written and verbal fluency in English
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:**
+ Graduate from accredited Medical School with a valid, unrestricted license is required
+ Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Practice residency
+ Completion of Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship
+ Board Certification in residency
+ Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
+ Two (2) years' experience in Hospital medicine preferred
+ At least one (1) year of utilization review experience preferred

Perform medical evaluations and examinations of all clinic patients.
Review all medical reports and, when necessary, communicable disease reports. The physician will advise staff on the medical aspects.
Advise and serve as a medical consultant to the Health Officer and nurses for Public Health Reasons.
Administer any required or ACIP-recommended vaccines to clients of the clinic or Citizens Of Passaic.
Perform lead testing, either capillary or venous.
Issue standing orders to nursing staff for the administration of immunizations, medications, or other procedures. Standing orders are required if the physician will be considerably late or absent for a scheduled clinic or activity, and another physician is not available to provide coverage.
Provide services such as hepatitis B immunization, COVID-19, influenza, and pneumococcal vaccines to City Employees and citizens of Passaic and make medical decisions for all such vaccines.
The physician will provide referrals to other licensed physicians or specialists for patients with medical conditions requiring follow-up.
Issue prescriptions for medications and/or supplements to patients as needed.
Attend meetings or other events when directed by the Health Officer.
Available to the Health Officer and nursing staff when needed.
All physicians will be held accountable for program compliance with all items stated in The NJVFC, 317-Funded Adult, and the CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Program Provider Agreements.
Work Schedule
Physician will work up to nineteen (19) hours a week if needed at any of the City Health Clinic(s).
Qualifications
All physicians must submit a copy of their license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey. Such license shall be in good standing with the State of New Jersey.

**LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) -Holly Tree Family**
**Job Summary:**
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Physician. The LPN functions as an integral part of the health care team to provide the highest quality of care to the patient by preparing and assessing patients for provider visits. In this position, the LPN will observe, record, and report patient responses to medical care provided during appointments.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Collaborates with physicians and other health care team members in meeting patient/family needs
+ Implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice
+ Appropriately labels and packages specimens, as trained
+ Assists in providing indirect care through various clerical or administrative duties as assigned by the registered nurse
+ Acts as a chaperone for health care providers during patient examination as requested
+ Assists provider with procedures, treatments, and interventions
+ Other duties as assigned
**Certifications:**
+ Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure or LPN applicant
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
