LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TRADOC):
Bowhead seeks a Logistics Management Specialist to support operations to the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Surgeon's Office located in Fort Eustis, VA. The Logistics Management Specialist will provide oversight, analysis, planning, and coordination of medical logistics tasks at an Operational and Strategic level.
**Responsibilities**
+ Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of regulations, standards, practices, techniques, and procedures applicable to medical supply, maintenance, and transportation systems/operations, sufficient to plan, coordinate, and oversee implementation of medical logistics operations.
+ Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of medical logistical units and organizations, their capabilities and supportable missions, in order to provide input as necessary on Operational Needs Statements (ONS) for medical, dental, or veterinary equipment for training purposes
+ Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to conduct studies to assess and analyze the nature of status of issues or problems within the area of medical supply and services, medical maintenance, and transportation.
+ Demonstrate thorough understanding of medical and logistical automation systems in order to review data and to produce or obtain reports. Knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of medical logistical contingency planning, and ability to apply such knowledge in the research, development and exercising of logistical contingency plans.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of Army Funding, budget and resource management regulations, principles, practice and procedures sufficient to advise plans for contingency and operational budgets. Skills in both oral and written
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in related field. Master's degree is preferred.
+ Three (3+) years' experience as part of G-4 in an active component division staff or equivalent Service organization.
+ Experience working at a Medical Readiness Command, Medical Center, and/or TRADOC Medical Center of Excellence.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands
+ Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.
+ Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
+ Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.

In this role, a typical day may include:
**Logistics Manager**
+ Lead all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the AN/SQQ‑89 A(V)15 system, ensuring alignment with Navy sustainment requirements and PEO IWS guidance.
+ Coordinate logistics planning, execution, and reporting across provisioning, supply support, maintenance planning, technical documentation, and training logistics.
+ Oversee development and maintenance of logistics artifacts including LSA data, S1000D‑compliant technical manuals, maintenance task analyses, and logistics product updates.
+ Manage configuration control of logistics products to maintain synchronization with engineering changes, modernization baselines, and fielded system variants.
+ Collaborate with ISEAs, TYCOMs, shipyards, and Fleet units to resolve supply and maintenance issues affecting system readiness.
+ Lead provisioning efforts, including Parts Breakdown (RPB), Allowance Parts List (APL), Allowance Equipage List (AEL), and associated supply documentation.
+ Monitor supply-chain performance, sparing strategies, Material Support Date (MSD) alignment, and Technical Directive implementation impacts.
+ Support lifecycle sustainment planning, including updates to the Life-Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and reliability/maintainability analyses.
+ Oversee logistics data collection, metrics tracking, and trend analysis to identify readiness drivers and inform corrective actions.
+ Coordinate material requirements for system installations, upgrades, testing events, and fleet support activities.
+ Prepare briefings, logistics status reports, and input to Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for delivery to government stakeholders.
+ Supervise logisticians and supply‑chain personnel, ensuring consistent application of Navy logistics standards and quality expectations.
**Requirements:**
+ Possess and maintain an active DoW Secret clearance which will be required by the contractor in the performance of their work to enter classified spaces, review data and access networks
+ Master's degree w/ 5 years of direct Navy Logistics Management, or Bachelor's degree w/ 9 years direct Navy Logistics Management experience. Or 15 years of direct Navy Logistics Management experience

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Summary
HII's System Integration group is seeking a Logistic Engineer to join our Fleet Sustainment group! This is a full-time role located at our Virginia Beach, VA office. As a Logistic Engineer you will play a critical role as part of the Integrated Training Systems Installation and Sustainment (ITSIS) support contract for the U.S. Navy.
Develops integrated product support documentation, including operator guides, maintenance manuals, and logistics products. Supports the Combined IAMD and ASW Trainer (CIAT) with a moderately technical military background. Preferred candidates bring experience with AEGIS, AN/SQQ-89(V)15 Sonar, Combat Systems Maintenance Manager (CSMM), or other Surface Combat Systems.
What You Will Do
+ Integrated Logistics Support (ILS): Monitor trouble reports and system failures. Coordinate with the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) to develop and maintain the lowest replacement units (LRU) for the system.
+ ILS: Maintain a spare parts pool in support of multiple operational CIAT sites. Maintain the tracking system for reporting component failure, and adjusting the supply support system necessary for training system reliability based on component failure rate.
+ Technical Writing: Generate, tech edit and redline both preventive and corrective maintenance documentation.
+ Preventive Maintenance System (PMS): maintenance procedures updating maintenance requirements for each site.
+ Obsolescence: Monitor and provide inputs for COTS obsolescence management.
+ Configuration Management (CM): Manage the system configuration in the iPDM database for accuracy and updates to components and technical documentation.
+ Confer with U.S Government customers and provide direct support to the ISEA.
Minimum Qualifications
+ 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
+ Must have experience in Navy combat systems operations and maintenance.
+ Experience in both system acquisition and sustainment phase of life cycle support.
+ Possess a general understanding of the Navy ILS process and its relation to training and lifecycle support at the level equivalent to a Work Center Supervisor (APL / NSN support, technical manual support, PMS).
+ Experience with commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment.
+ General knowledge with Windows and Redhat software within a combat system-computing infrastructure.
+ Knowledge / experience with AEGIS or other Navy Combat Systems required.

+ Familiar with Outlook, Access, Project and Visio. Strong analytical, problem solving, and writing skills are critical.

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is currently seeking a CVN Maintenance Support Center (MSC) Logistics Support 4 candidate to join the Maintenance Support Center team at the Suffolk Warehouse in Suffolk, VA. As the nation's largest military shipbuilder, HII knows how to integrate millions of parts, pieces and service from across the globe to complete a larger mission. Our Joint Forces Integrated Solutions (JFIS) Group is seeking a logistics support candidate that has a working knowledge of the CVN Maintenance Support Center operations, as the selected candidate will be working with technical manuals and engineering drawings to perform logistic technical evaluation of equipment and materials presented in these drawings and manuals.
Essential Job Responsibilities
+ Provide support to the logistics function, specifically assisting Ships Force personnel in the day-to-day operation and on-the-job training, as needed, of the Maintenance Support Center (MSC) during a ship's refueling complex overhaul (RCOH).
+ Modifies maintenance records, such as repair standards, for more complex equipment or components.
+ Analyze Validation Worksheets (VW) to identify logistic support deficiencies that require correction; assist the MSC in determining if proper logistic support is available for the validated component utilizing Haystack (IHS) for part identification.
+ Assist with Relational Supply (RSUPPLY) and Organizational Maintenance Management System - Next Generation (OMMS-NG) operation.
+ Assist the MSC with communications to resolve problems and gather data for processing of OMMS-NG database corrections.
+ Assist the MSC, as needed, in the processing and submission of validation data to the Configuration Data Manager (CDM).
+ Assist the MSC, as needed, in both the tracking and processing of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) packages received.
+ Reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment, documents equipment, component and parts conditions, and identifies logistic support documentation to be included, such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

- Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides recommendations and technical support in solving these problems.
- Assesses and supports implementation of solutions that meet network security requirements.
- Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
- Perform duties associated with development and review of RMF packages.
Example tasks:
- Perform Package Submitting Office level review and validation of RMF packages as required for Security Authorization Package level review.
- Apply Best Business Practices across all NAVIFOR accreditation packages ensuring uniformity and the capability to capture performance metrics.
- Conduct research and analysis and provide recommendations in support of network security, risk, and compliance policy and implementation guidance.
- Support cyber-security assessments and investigations.
- Assist in the management of eMASS to meet DoW and DoN A&A requirements.
- Assist in providing an efficient and repeatable process for all four of the DoW IT Types (IS, Platform IT, IT Services, IT Products) to reduce package rework. Collaborate with US Fleet Forces Command, OPNAV, Navy Authorization Office (NAO), and Security Control Assessor (SCA) on RMF package products and status.
