MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED

**Compensation**
+ The expected compensation weekly pay ranges for interns is $900 - $1,150 based on your expected graduation date.
+ Compensation rates for Summer Interns is pre-determined and non-negotiable.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end logistics strategies to support business objectives.
- Oversee all transportation operations, including domestic and international freight, carriers, and routes.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and suppliers.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.
- Optimize warehouse operations for efficiency, safety, and throughput.
- Develop and implement strategies for warehousing, material handling, and distribution.
- Monitor supply chain performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per unit, inventory accuracy, and carrier performance.
- Utilize logistics software and technology to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze supply chain data.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies within the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales, manufacturing) to forecast demand and plan logistics accordingly.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals in a remote setting.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics management.
- Proven experience managing domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency with supply chain management software (ERP, WMS, TMS) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, preferably in a remote or distributed environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally for site visits or supplier meetings.
- APICS or similar supply chain certifications are a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive operational excellence.
