Job Description

**Amentum** is seeking a **Security Field Supervisor** to join our team in **Hawthorne, Nevada** to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The **Security Field Supervisor** will monitor assigned shift guards during the performance of their duties that ensures the safety and security of personnel and real property on the base and reports into the Security Department Manager.
**Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.**
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Monitors the performance of armed patrols, mounted and on foot. Stand post at designated locations, carries out instructions, primarily oriented toward ensuring that emergencies, security, and safety violations are readily discovered and reported to the appropriate authority.
+ Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.
+ Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
+ Ability to perform in a professional manner and maintain a neat and clean appearance in assigned uniform.
+ Work in close proximity to and or in a munition storage and demilitarization facility.
+ Must qualify in the use of firearms, less than lethal intervention, and various other security procedures.
+ Ensure the integrity of the Hawthorne Army Depot and, security of real and personal property, and stored assets.
+ Maintain constant visual observation of the Hawthorne Army Depot, report/respond to any observed situations or criminal activity i.e., trespassers, hostile intruders, domestic disturbances, physical altercations, etc.
+ Stand post at designated locations, including entrance and egress points.
+ Assure that all practices and regulations pertaining to access are complied with.
+ Provide oral and written reports to central dispatch, supervisors, or other designated persons.
+ Respond to dispatches, alarms, and observe situations to ensure the security of property and personnel.
+ Function as first responder to cordon off/contain an area during spills and discharges which may contain hazardous substances or explosives.
+ Conduct vehicle and/or foot patrols of perimeter and other assigned locations.
+ Monitor individuals and vehicles entering sensitive and restricted areas to include the Ammo storage housing all types of categories, making sure they are in compliance with Standard Operational Procedures (SOP).
+ Responsible for vehicle, keys, radios, weapons, and other assigned equipment.
+ May be required to work overtime or varying hours to include shift work; be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.
+ Other related duties as assigned.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
+ Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment.
+ Must be able to wear a Full-Face APR (M40, North, etc.)
+ Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any HWAD drill, contingency and/or emergency requirement.
+ Must be able to pass/maintain PILB certification throughout employment.
+ **Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.**
+ **Must pass a driving record (MVR) check. Must have and maintain a safe driving record.**
+ **Must be able to obtain and maintain Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) site access. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain access.**

**SECURITY CLEARANCE**
This position is designated as a safety sensitive position and is subject to the requirements of the HWAD Medical Surveillance Plan and Matrix and the HWAD A&D Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, drug testing, medical exam, and respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by 29 CFR and Army Regulations: AR 190-11, AR 190-13 and DOD Contractors Safety Manual .
**Compensation Details:**
$73,000 to $78,000

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $59267 - $88900 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
