Arizona Walmart closed after truck driver ‘purposefully’ crashes into store

A Walmart store in Arizona has been left out of action after a truck driver allegedly "purposefully" rammed into the store.

At 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, police were called to the Walmart store in Nogales, Arizona, in response to a "semi-truck that purposefully smashed into the front of the Walmart."

No injuries were reported. the Nogales Police Department arrested New Mexico-based truck driver Christian Andrews for building damage and possible DUI.

Police say that Walmart is closed until further notice for an investigation into the incident.

Walmart is an American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores in the United States, headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The Bentonville-based leading retailer now has 1.6 million associates in the US and almost 2.3 million globally.
