Global glass fabricator to bring 335 jobs to Virginia

Press Glass is planning a $155.2 investment to create 335 new job opportunities in Virginia.

The European independent glass fabricator will add a 360,000-square-foot facility to its Commonwealth Crossing Industrial Park complex.

This expansion in Henry County would bolster its US presence.

It will also enhance its production capacity for glass products catering to the commercial construction sector

The project is expected to generate 335 new job opportunities in the region.

Governor Glenn Youngkin said: “With this expansion, Press Glass will make the largest single capital investment by a business in Henry County’s history.

“The addition of 335 new jobs, more than doubling the company’s head count, helps this region continue its economic rebound and demonstrates the resurgence of manufacturing that is happening across the Commonwealth.”

Poland-based Press Glass was founded in 1991 and operates 15 European and US factories

The company serves fabricators of windows and doors, facades, and interior glass constructions. 

It started operations in Henry County in 2020 and employs over 300 people.
