The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of all equipment, including production machinery, warehouse systems, office areas, and the building itself. The role covers a broad range of maintenance tasks such as mechanical, electrical (up to and including three-phase), plumbing, painting, welding, and some carpentry. As a member of the team, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
+ Work closely with Equipment Operators and Supervisors to coordinate and perform maintenance activities.
+ Apply troubleshooting skills to a wide variety of machine applications to address production needs.
+ Diagnose and repair control wiring, relay logic, motor drive circuits, control system devices, photo eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, and transducers.
+ Utilize tools such as Digital Volt Meter and AMP probes to diagnose electrical issues.
+ Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installation, repair, and servicing of machinery and support systems.
+ Conduct systematic preventive maintenance, including adjustments, inspections, and minor repairs on plant equipment.
+ Prioritize machine breakdown repairs to minimize production downtime.
+ Perform welding and machine shop tasks to repair and improve equipment and machinery.
+ Complete all assigned maintenance projects in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
